These high quality dispensers are very versatile and can be used not only to fertilize but for treatment and disinfecting your orchids and/or plants as well. This dosing system is non-electric and uses water pressure as its power source and can be installed directly into the water supply. The dosing unit disperses the amount of concentrate proportional to the volume of water entering the injector, regardless of variations in the flow of pressure, which may occur in the main line. The Hozon siphon mixer is made of solid brass and is manufactured with a  built-in backflow preventer. It is designed to siphon from a bucket of  concentrated solution filled with 16 times the recommended rate of the product for each gallon of water. As the water from the faucet passes over the siphon, it dilutes the concentrate 16 times, or back to the original   recommended rate. Complete directions and recommendations are printed on the package.
